Hand tools and DIY equipment
What makes the difference to being a good handyman? Largely DIY equipment available to carry out any type of work. Beginners and pros alike need to use the right DIY tools for each task to get a solid, neat job. Of course, this DIY equipment includes basic hand tools for all cutting work (cutter, saw, pliers), measuring (meter), marking (pencil, scriber), fixing ( screwdriver, stapler, hammer) or installation (spirit level).
Then, each trade has its own specific hand tools: trowel and formwork material for masonry, brushes and rollers for paint, tile cutter for tiling, plate lifter for plasterboard, cable cutter for electricity, slate cutter for the roof, gouges and planes for woodworking, not forgetting keys, jack and tool boxes for mechanics.
